One of my favorite stories in the book is “The Gruesome Tale of Gertrude Grumbleguts,” which is about a woman who is cursed to eat her own children. It’s so gross and disturbing, but it’s also so well-written that I couldn’t help but be drawn in. Another great story is “The Horrible Haunting of Horace Haggard,” which is about a man who is haunted by the ghost of his dead wife. This story is both creepy and heartbreaking, and it really stayed with me after I finished it.
