As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have always been taught about the three degrees of glory. These degrees of glory are described in the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and other scriptures. They are:

• The Celestial Kingdom,
• The Terrestrial Kingdom, and
• The Telestial Kingdom.

Each degree of glory has its own unique characteristics and blessings. The Celestial Kingdom is the highest degree of glory and is reserved for those who have been faithful to the commandments of God and have received the ordinances of the gospel. The Terrestrial Kingdom is for those who have lived good lives but have not been baptized or have not been faithful to the commandments of God. The Telestial Kingdom is for those who have lived wicked lives and have not repented.
